APPEARANCE OF CONFLICTS FOLLOW TEXAS JUDGES UP THE POLITICAL LADDER!!!

The Austin American-Statesman reported today that:

‘Chief Justice Wallace B. Jefferson, asked to name a trial judge for the DeLay cas
e, shared the same campaign treasurer and consultant as DeLay's Texans for a Republican Majority. One of his largest campaign donations — $25,000 — was from the arm of the Republican National Committee that's at the center of the allegation that DeLay and his co-defendants laundered corporate money into political donations in 2002.’

This plant is used to make rope (besides it’s obvious use and medicinal uses) – no wonder Washington’s slaves were always whistling “Dixie” (song origin).

TEXAS FIGHTS BACK ON LAND GRAB, MAYBE!

TEXAS SENATE SENDS BILL TO HOUSE Is it for real or is the Texas Senate & Texas House (contact these bastards) really attempting to stop the Supreme Court's recent ruling concerning the huge expanse of the 'Laws of Eminent Domain' (the power of a government to take private property for public use, usually with compensation paid to the owner). The Court ruled that a government enity can 'take' private property and give/sell it to a PRIVATE developer. Now, eminent domain has always been used to build roads, sidewalks, sewers, public buildings, etc, things that benefit all of the community. NOT private developement, where yet another immoral developer and his corporate pals / congresstional goons / money benefactors all benefit at the loss of your Constitutional Right to Own Property - 5th Ammendment. Interesting enough is the history of the annexation of Texas by the U.S. (from THSA). Texans, remember where we came from.
